The agreement between you and this shop when you place an order.
Who we are
These terms cover everything you buy from this shop, online or over the phone. Placing an order means you accept them.
They are written as a sensible starting point for a clothing business. Replace the company details, and have the whole page checked against the law where you trade.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it, and only then is a contract formed.
We may decline an order if a piece has just sold out, if the delivery address is outside the area we cover, or if we cannot verify the details given.
Sizes are held for you only once an order is confirmed. Items sitting in a bag are not reserved.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise, and the total you approve at checkout is what you pay.
If a price is listed wrongly through an obvious error we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel without charge.
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Cash-on-delivery orders may be confirmed by phone before they are dispatched.
Delivery
Delivery windows are estimates, given in good faith and dependent on the courier.
Risk passes to you on delivery. Please check the parcel on arrival and tell us the same day if anything is damaged or missing.
If nobody is available to receive an order the courier will attempt redelivery. Repeated failed attempts may return the parcel to us, and a second delivery charge can apply.
Alterations
Hems and sleeve lengths on tailoring are adjusted free of charge. Anything more involved is quoted first, and no fabric is cut until you have approved the quote.
Altered pieces are made to your measurements and cannot be returned or exchanged, which is why we confirm every measurement in writing before starting.
Cancellations and returns
An order can be cancelled free of charge any time before it is dispatched — call or message us and we will stop it.
After delivery, the returns policy applies: thirty days, unworn and tagged, with free return shipping.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.
Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer as a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care.
We are not responsible for delays outside our control, such as courier disruption or extreme weather, though we will always tell you what is happening.
Garment care instructions are on every label. Damage caused by ignoring them is not a fault.
